Ebony Smith - The People's Agent
Ebony, a San Francisco native, comes from a large, tight-knit family that loves to get together for game nights and crazy, expressive dinners. Being a part of a big family, Ebony has always been interested in the human process and choices. So she decided to major in psychology with a focus on transformative psychology-Nature vs. Nurture.
Ebony went on to earn a master's degree in Counseling Psychology and spent several years applying her skills in different industries such as non-profit housing development, mental health, finance and community coaching. Ebony has dedicated over 40,000+ hours of her time advocating for fair and equitable housing, local-state policy transparency, mental health, fair and equal education for underserved communities.
Ebony is on the board of one of San Francisco's oldest mental health agencies, Westside Community Services. Her interest includes web development, teaching, exploring different cities, and travelling to different states and countries (2 down and 193 to explore).
Ebony has proven that kindness and openness to meet people where they are will always yield positive outcomes.
